My name is Mark Downs. My
main employment is as a General Medical Practitioner in London. I am
also a part time Teaching Fellow in the Faculty of Medicine at
Imperial College, London. Since
2001 I have enjoyed scuba diving. Naturally my job and hobby have
tended to merge and I am now a HSE approved medical examiner of divers. It is
always a privilege to be able to help fellow divers with medical
problems, so that we can all develop our passion for diving
together.

Beware!!
- Royal Avenue is split into two parts. You need the short end which
is off The Avenue. If you are on an unmade road and the houses have
names and not numbers then you are on the wrong part of Royal Avenue
From the North:
Leave the A3 at the A2042
and head east towards Worcester Park. At the railway station
crossroads, go right (opposite the station) onto The Avenue. After
about half a mile you pass St Mary's Church (on your right hand
side.) Shortly after the church turn right into Royal Avenue. No
40 is the third and last house on the right.
From the South:
Leave the A3 at the Tolworth junction. Take
the A240 towards Epsom. At the third set of traffic lights, which is
just after a slight bend in the road turn left onto the B284 toward
Worcester Park. After a quarter of a mile the road does a 90º turn to
the right in front of the Hogs Mill pub. After 400 yards you need to
give way at a crossroads. Turn left up Grafton Road. After a further
400 yards the road goes up an incline and Royal Avenue is at the top
on the left. No 40 is the third and last house on the right.
From the East:
Leave Epsom on the A240
towards Kingston. Before you get to the A3 there is a traffic light
controlled junction with the B284 towards Worcester Park on the right.
Take this road.
